"Original Women" Concert and Neighborhood Event

Providing a musical “opening act” will be Bethel’s own dynamic jazz musical group, always a treat! Food truck

offerings will include Philly Steak Sandwiches, Chicken Wraps, Custom Brownies, and much more. 

Featured musical entertainment for the evening will be the singing duo “Original Women”. Well known in the

St. Louis area, the partners in the duo, Susan Drake and Julie Jennings, have been making music together

since 1999. Susan and Julie bring crisp social critique, bold honesty, emotional integrity, and passion for life to

their songs and their singing. Partners in life, they apply these gifts and much love to co-parenting their chil-

dren, Sarah and Andrew. Susan and Julie are both ordained ministers in the United Church of Christ. “Original

Women” will perform from 7 till 8 that evening.
